KERs – Clanfolk Educational Requirements

KERs – Kinfolk Educational Requirements – is a short course in TDB Druidry.  It is meant to introduce folks to Tuatha De Brighid spiritual Tradition, as well as give prospective Cann members time and basis upon which to evaluate our group and our path.

The course contains many options for doing the exit requirements, such as essays, creative projects, rituals, etc.

The topics of the course include:

  • The Three Mysteries
  • The Six Principles
  • The Nine Virtues
  • Basic Ritual
  • Druid Sacred Cosmology
  • Historical Druids

Any Friend member is eligible to take the course.  There are no fees.  Upon completing the course, a member is eligible for Initiation into the Tuatha De Brighid Tradition, and becoming a Kinfolk member of the Clann. The course is self-paced, but in general should take about three months to complete. Depending upon the current number of people taking the course, we may run an occasional email class covering the requiements. Any member enrolled in the course is also entitled to a mentor upon request.

If you are interested in Initiation into our Tradition, and would like to take the course, please contact our Spirit Chief.
